What is a canker sore?
Canker sores, also known as aphthous ulcers, are painful lesions that typically form inside the mouth. Canker sores are white or yellowish in color and can appear anywhere in your mouth, usually on the gums or cheeks. They will usually go away on their own within 7-10 days.
